L’Orange are in fact two people who have spent quite a lot of time in a room writing and refining the songs that constitute their debut album. Based in London, L’Orange is first and foremost the stunning voice of Orange, a French singer/lyricist who sings in English and French. A former school-teacher and a trained opera singer, Orange arrived in London 10 years ago and, after joining forces with composer and electronic sound-kneader The Judge, she started developing her own personal universe of languorous, watery moods and cinematic ambiences. L’Orange have been performing extensively in London and UK. |
