Joseph Anderson
Born in Ohio in 1970, Anderson studied in the UK with Jonty Harrison and was a member of BEAST (Birmingham Electroacoustic Sound Theatre). He then won the prestigious ‘Grand Prix’ at the 1997 Bourges Electroacoustic Music Competition with his piece Changes Music dedicated to John Cage. He later returned to the US to work as a signal processing engineer at the Analogue Devices Audio Rendering Technology Center in San Jose, California. Currently he is back in the UK lecturing at Hull University.
