Sargasso:C is the live platform for Sargasso artists to present new written or improvised works, experiment with new ideas and explore collaborations with other non-Sargasso artists. Each Sargasso:C event centers around a particular guest artist and/or theme. Presented more like 'happenings' rather than traditional concerts, Sargasso:C taps into the infinite possibilities of inter-disciplinary performance that includes visual arts, new technologies, installations, dance , science and more...

Kings Place, London - 8pm
Live-On-Line. London/Montreal. A unique two-city simultaneous live event where artists on stages in London's Kings Place and Canada's SAT (Society for Arts and Technology) meet for the first time and perform together online. Using a special zero-latency audio-video network connection which allows perfect synchronisation, this e-concert brings together musicians, visual artists and audiences from two different continents and cultures for an exhilarating on-the-spot creative encounter.
London artists include Rob Palmer (guitar/electronics), Daniel Finfer (trumpet), Jacek Scarso and Maya Sapone (vocals), Daniel Biro (keyboard/electronics), and very special guest artist Jim Cuomo (8-bit computer composer/saxophone). Having written music for early Amiga and Gameboy games in the 90s, Cuomo has become an '8-bit legend' and still uses these old machines to produce and perform elaborate contemporary compositions. This is his first London concert in many years.
Montreal artists TBC. Watch this space...
